At FriloTech, we are very focused on the environment, which is reflected in the products we have developed over time and the measures we have implemented. This page is dedicated to guiding you to properly dispose of our products and residual waste after usage. 

How to dispose of our products

cool pack sleeves and gel packs 

Our cooling elements/gel packs are disposed of as combustible waste. The cool pack is made out of cardboard and can be sorted as such, and the gel pack is sorted as plastic.

The gel inside the gel pack is biodegradable and turns back into water if exposed to UV/sunlight for more than 3-4 days. Alternatively, you can sprinkle NaCI/kitchen salt over the gel and stir to turn it back into water.
It can then be poured down the drain. 

EPS packaging

EPS packaging (otherwise known as 'flamingo boxes') is 100% recyclable. It can be sorted as household waste, however, the most sustainable choice would be to deliver it to your nearest recycling center. Most centers ensure the recycling of EPS, at other recycling centres, EPS is collected for energy recovery.
